GIOVANNI BURLANDO’S VISION
ABOUT
The story of hills race told by Giovanni Burlando: 75 years old and about 850 contests raced with some of the best racers in the world such as Agostini and Pasolini. And then his workshop and his motorbikes: Ducati 250, Benelli 250, Aletta 125 and Motobi 250, each of them fixed by himself alone. Riding on the Doria-Creto path he tells about prizes, contests and his overwhelming passion for motorbikes.
I have been working as a freelance editor, camera operator, photographer and videomaker for a long time, having reached a long-standing experience in the broadcasting area. I come from Genoa, Italy.
In 1987 I started working in some private broadcasting networks; then I worked for RAI and other private networks such as Mediaset and Sky Italia as well, which are the most important Italian networks. I handled with Champion’s League, World and European Soccer Championship and with the daily news too; in 2001 I was around Genoa streets for G8 films and shoots.
I provided my services during the election campaigns for the major of Genoa, Marco Doria (2012) and for the President of Regione Liguria (2015). I also made the docu-film “Il canto del Gallo” for the publisher Chiarelettere, which is a report about Don Andrea Gallo (a famous Italian street priest): I also cooperated with Teatro dell’Archivolto.
My passion of motorbikes led me working with specific magazines such as Special Cafe; I also shot the short docu-film “Giovanni Burlando’s Vision”, which is a story about hills race, being spread worldwide by blogs of motorbike fans.
