MORBIDELLI – A STORY OF MEN AND FAST MOTORCYCLES

ABOUT

Morbidelli only had a short Grand Prix career, but in the decade they raced they made an incredible impression, scoring four World titles. What makes this truly remarkable is that Giancarlo Morbidelli’s team consisted of a handful of passionate mechanics and engineers working in their spare time, while the Japanese factories they beat employed hundreds of engineers and mechanics in their well-funded race departments. This documentary tells the story of Morbidelli’s meteoric rise in 125cc and 250cc World Championship racing and their later forays into 350cc and 500cc classes.Along the way stars like Angel Nieto, Pier Paolo Bianchi, Graziano Rossi and more add their tales to the story. However, it is the ordinary working men behind the success who make this such a likable and fascinating story.Their camaraderie and shared sense of achievement shines through, years after the bikes they sweated and slaved over last turned a wheel in anger.
