MEET THE JUDGES: JEFF DECKER

Artist / Sculpter / Motorcycle Historian

World renowned artist, sculptor, and motorcycle historian. Passionate about cars, motorcycles or anything mechanical that started out well made and has endured the test of time. Jeff acknowledges his deep passion for the subject matter. Jeff inherited the love of all things motorcycle from his father, Allan Decker, who not only owned one of southern California’s largest collections of flathead speed equipment during the 60’s but was an astute mechanic understanding the lines and proportion of the machines. Working full-time at a bronze casting foundry, Jeff’s first idea was to capture Man’s quest for speed in all vehicles. After sculpting a race car and boat, Jeff’s third sculpture was the 1913 Flying Merkel board track racing motorcycle. The rest is history…….
